2. Our services
We provide accounts preparation, bookkeeping, tax, payroll and pensions, VAT and Making Tax Digital, audit and assurance support, and business advisory services. The scope, fees and timelines for each engagement will be agreed in writing (an engagement letter or proposal) before work begins.
3. Your responsibilities
You agree to give us complete, accurate and timely information and documents. We rely on what you provide and are not responsible for errors or delays caused by missing or incorrect information. You remain responsible for the final approval of any return or filing.
4. Fees and payment
Fees are as agreed in your engagement letter or quote. Invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice. We may charge interest or suspend work on overdue accounts, and extra work outside the agreed scope may be charged separately.
5. Confidentiality
We keep your information confidential and use it only to provide our services, except where disclosure is required by law or by a regulator.

7. Limitation of liability
We will perform our services with reasonable skill and care. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything that cannot legally be limited. Subject to this, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any engagement is limited to the amount stated in the engagement letter (or, if none, the fees paid for that engagement).
8. Intellectual property
All website content, logos and materials belong to Riverbridge or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission.
9. Cancellation
Either party may end an engagement by giving written notice. You will pay for work done up to the date of termination.
